An innovative brand with a long tradition

1956

When Jakob Eschbach began producing shaft suits and hoses in an old barn and dance hall in Essen Kupferdreh in 1956, no one could have foreseen that the initial idea and small beginnings would grow to become a leading company for protective clothing.

1965

Just 9 years after its establishment, the company premises were already at their limit due to growth. In 1965, therefore, founder decided to relocate to a new site in Marsberg, Sauerland, where there was sufficient production and expansion capacity.

1984

In 1984, the presence in the market was further expanded with the takeover of Isomat Schutzbekleidung GmbH in Osnabrück.

1998

Today's company name Novotex-Isomat, is justified by the amalgamation of the two companies' premises in 1998.
